Charles
Rennie Mackintosh’s supreme architectural achievement, the building

Glasgow Cathedral, Cathedral Square, Glasgow.
One
of Scotland's most magnificent medieval buildings, the Cathedral is the
only building of its kind on the Scottish mainland to survive the
Reformation of 1560 intact.

Necropolis, Castle Street, Cathedral Square, Glasgow.
Glasgow’s own Père Lachaise, adjacent
to Glasgow Cathedral, this spectacular cemetery is renowned for its
beautifully designed tombs and excellent views over the city.

Tenement House, 145 Buccleuch Street, Glasgow.

Gallery of Modern Art, Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow.
Located
in the former 18th century home of one of the city’s Tobacco Lords,
GoMA houses four floors of contemporary paintings, sculpture and
installations from around the world.
The Lighthouse, Scotland's Centre for Architecture, Design & the City, 11 Mitchell Lane, Glasgow.
The
former Glasgow Herald building is now home to Scotland's award winning
centre for architecture, design and the city. The Mackintosh tower
with its spiral staircase provides magnificent rooftop views.

City Chambers is a masterpiece of Victorian architecture and has an
impressive loggia, marble staircases and stunning banqueting hall. George Square
is at the heart of the city and bordered by some of Glasgow's most

Italian
theme is explored here with restaurants and outlets such as Emporio
Armani and Cruise. Mecca for young and stylish. Glasgow’s café

Concert Hall has played host to some of the worlds greatest
orchestras. Scottish classical music is also well represented in the

in Victorian Railway Vaults, the Arches produces a programme of

in 1451, the university boasts a long history of achievements ranging

to her former glory, the S.V Glenlee (1896) is one of only five

a reconstruction of a 1930s Glasgow street scene, complete with cinema

Clyde Auditorium (Armadillo), Finnieston Quay
The
Clyde Auditorium designed by Foster and Partners is a striking
structure, affectionately known as the Armadillo, although often
likened to the Sydney Opera House. The Auditorium is a satellite

Finnieston Crane, Finnieston Quay
Giant
crane formerly used to lift locomotives onto ships for export abroad.
Now remains as a permanent reminder of the city’s engineering &

Within
the elaborate Beaux Art Design of Govan Town Hall resides a filming
studio, state of the art post producation facilities including

Scottish Football Museum, Hampden Park, Glasgow

interactive display and videos the museum celebrates the history of

Glasgow Science Centre, 50 Pacific Quay, Glasgow.
Glasgow
Science Centre is situated on the south bank of the river and showcases
science through an exciting array of interactive exhibits and demo
theatres. The Centre includes the Science Mall, IMAX cinema and
Planetarium along with the 127m Glasgow Tower for spectacular views

House for An Art Lover, Bellahouston Park, 10 Dumbreck Road, Glasgow.
Designed
by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1901, House for an Art Lover was
finally completed in 1996 using Mackintosh's original drawings. The
House contains a permanent exhibition of decorative furnished rooms,
realised by contemporary artists.

Art
nouveau building by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, now a Museum of
Education. Contains reconstructions of Victorian, Edwardian, World War
II and 1960s classrooms. School children regularly get to dress up in
Victorian/Edwardian school uniform and experience a living history
lesson.

Templeton Carpet Factory, Glasgow Green
Based on the Doge’s Palace in Venice, this multi-coloured building is visually stunning.
People’s Palace, Glasgow Green.
Built
in 1898 for the people of Glasgow, the museum tells the story of
Glasgow from 1750 to the present day. Attached to the People's Palace
is the elegant Victorian glasshouse, the Winter Gardens.
