On 15 December the London Philharmonic Orchestra is joined by Colin Currie who will be playing the European première of Higdon’s Percussion Concerto. Currie was the first percussion finalist in the BBC Young Musician of the Year Competition. He now performs all across the world and is also the current Visiting Professor of Solo Percussion at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
