Hutcheson Whisky Events has just established a new centre for malt whisky in the village of Puttenham just outside Guildford. High quality independently bottled single cask malt whiskies are now available at ‘The Good Intent’ in Puttenham village. Julian and Rachel Dance took over this little gem of a pub at the end of last year and have created a friendly community atmosphere through great service and a superb range of fine ales. Also being on a major hiking route the pub provides ideal respite from the weather should you need warming up, cooling down, lunch or simply a rest in the rear garden. Whether it’s ‘Fish & Chip Night’, ‘Curry Night’ or just a normal pub night there’s a nice crowd and now some very special malts to enjoy. These whiskies will also be available as ‘off-sales’ at the normal retail price should you decide to take one home or buy someone a seriously nice present.
