There's no reason whatsoever why St Andrew's Day should not become a massive worldwide celebration if we all put in a wee bit of effort starting this Friday...

  1. "Get yer kilts on and the flags oot";
  2. No kilt?........ Buy one, or at least wear a Scotland jersey;
  3. Play Scottish music all day;
  4. Send an email to all your mates wishing them a "Happy St. Andrew's Day";
  5. Eat something Scottish like Haggis, Scottish Salmon or Deep Fried Mars Bars;
  6. Greet people by saying "Happy St Andrew's Day";
  7. When shopping, choose the Scottish option;
  8. Raise a glass to "Scotland and St. Andrew !" (Preferably Scotch Whisky or Irn-Bru);
  9. Thank your God for being so lucky as to be born Scottish;
  10. If you weren't so lucky to be born Scottish, then thank your God / god for being so lucky as to have Scottish friends.
