auld_lang_syne_2_fulham_ceilidh_2001_plops_and_mike.jpg If you need a thoroughly deserving destination for some of you hard-earned money over the next couple of weeks, then why not attend a Scottish ceilidh or reel party and dance the night away in aid of a good cause. Here's a great selection of ceilidh and reel ideas to sift through and decide upon! Euan's ceilidh this Saturday is particularly recommended. Euan is from Edinburgh. Euan's 32yrs old, he works in Edinburgh and London, and was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease three years ago. He's a very enthusiast and postive guy and does a power of charitable work - a fab example to us all. Check out www.euansfund.com . Your help in supporting Euan and these worthy causes is appreciated. Enjoy life by helping others.

(1) Euan's Ceilidh - Saturday 14 October 2006 at Fulham Town Hall. Time 8pm-2am. Tickets GBP 30. Dress Code - black tie. Music - Ceilidh then DJ. Supporting the Robert Packard Center and the Scottish Motor Neurone Disease Association. Last year's event was a huge success, with the charity dinner (and other events) raising over GBP 300k. Wow! This year the ceilidh is looking to bring everyone together for an outrageous black tie knees up, including a charity auction with great prizes, including a champagne barge trip; week in cottage in the South of France; goody bag from Channel Four. Please see website - www.euansfund.com for more information or make a donation by visiting www.justgiving.com/ceilidh . Euan's Ceilidh in not a dinner dance however some food will be made available to guests during the evening. This event has been organised in conjunction with the Sportsman's Charity to support Scottish Motor Neurone Disease charities. Tickets GBP 35. Dress code - black tie. Tombola and raffle. Midnight smack. The MMCF is reeling yet again on behalf of Cancer Research UK Scotland. Our last reels in 2004 raised GBP 10k for essential cancer equipment and resources. This event has been taking place every 2nd year since 1992 and we hope to reach the GBP 100k raised amount this year. If you are interested in attending, please email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and send your name and address, the number of tickets required and the corresponding cheque, payable to Matthew Miller Cancer Fund (CRUK) to Andrew Miller, 6 Belford Terrace, Edinburgh, EN4 3DQ.
